Project Manager
Position Description:
DBI Projects is seeking to bring on a Project Manager capable of managing capital projects across all stages. DBI values an individual who has the ability and drive to work hard, who is highly motivated, and who is not afraid to take on assignments and endeavors while implementing a results-driven attitude. A desire to be heavily involved with all aspects of design and construction is required.
Position Responsibilities:
Project Managers are the core team member of any DBI project. Day-to-day responsibilities include client interaction, project team coordination, contractor and schedule management, budget management, and other project-related activities to ensure successful and timely completion of the project. The Project Manager will report to DBI Principals, Project Executives, or Senior Project Managers.
Applicant Skills & Experience:
Prospective applicants should have 6-12 years of experience in architecture or related practices with experience supporting project delivery. This experience should include direct involvement in:
Site supervision and construction administration
Coordinating between or with A/E teams and contractors
Schedule and budget management
Applicants should have strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present themselves confidently in meetings and manage the project team. Additionally, the position requires proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop) and MS Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and, particularly, Excel). Experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and knowledge of construction scheduling programs such as MS Projects is particularly valuable as well.

Assistant Project Manager
Position Description:
DBI Projects is seeking to bring on an Assistant Project Manager to join our New York City office. This position provides the opportunity for a candidate with 4-6 years of experience to develop the requisite skills and experience to manage projects. DBI values an individual who has the ability and drive to work hard, who is highly motivated and who is not afraid to take on assignments and endeavors while implementing a results-driven attitude. A desire to be heavily involved with all aspects of planning, design and construction is required.
Position Responsibilities:
The role of Assistant Project Manager is tailored to the needs of each individual project and the phase of the project. The Assistant Project Manager supports the project lead and senior leadership with client interaction, project team coordination, contractor and schedule management, budget management, and other project-related activities.
Applicant Skills & Experience:
Prospective applicants should have 4–6 years of experience in architecture, construction management, or related practices.
Applicants should have strong written and verbal communication skills and be prepared to be an active team participant for both internal and external tasks. The position requires proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and, particularly, Excel) and Adobe Create Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop). Knowledge of AutoCAD, Bluebeam and construction scheduling programs such as MS Projects are particularly valuable as well.

Position Description:
DBI Projects is seeking to bring on a Project Coordinator to join our New York office. This position provides the opportunity for an entry-level candidate to develop the requisite skills and experience for a career in project management. DBI values an individual who has the ability and drive to work hard, who is detail-oriented, highly motivated and who is not afraid to take on assignments and endeavors while implementing a results-driven attitude. A desire to be heavily involved with all aspects of design and construction is required.
Position Responsibilities:
The role of Project Coordinator is tailored to the needs of each individual project and the phases of the project. The Project Coordinator supports the project team with meeting minutes, document management, project team procurement and coordination, contractor and schedule management, budget management, and other project-related activities. The role is expected to grow and evolve as the Project Coordinator is able to demonstrate an ability to contribute to the successful and timely completion of the project.
Applicant Skills & Experience:
Prospective applicants should have 1–3 years of experience in architecture, engineering, construction management, or related practices with an understanding and knowledge of project management. Applicants should have strong written and verbal communication skills and be prepared to be an active team participant for both internal and external tasks. The position requires proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and, particularly, Excel). Experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite are particularly valuable as well, as is knowledge of construction scheduling programs such as MS Projects.
