Dorie Miller Housing Coop Portfolio

The Dorie Miller co-op opened in Corona, Queens in 1953 as the city’s first integrated cooperative housing development. The campus consists of six buildings with 221,500-sf of residential building area, 43,500-sf of common space, and 25,000-sf of garage space. The complex houses approximately 825 occupants in three hundred 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom apartments.

DBI Projects was engaged by Dorie Miller to provide owner’s representative services for the coop’s portfolio of capital projects. Following the development of a detailed Project Implementation Plan, Dorie Miller further engaged DBI to manage the selected capital projects including major mechanical infrastructure, local law 11 & FISP-related work, asset enhancement & value preservation work, and other technology & security upgrades across the campus.
